Die Mariska ist ein wahrlich besonderes Boot. Entworfen von dem berühmten Bootsdesigner William Fife III, begann der Bau 1903. Ihre ursprüngliche Rennkarriere begann 1908 und sie fuhr bis 1939.
Nachdem sie 2020 von ihrem jetzigen Besitzer gekauft wurde, wurde sie nach Barcelona überführt. Jetzt kann die Mariska für verschiedene Regatten auf der ganzen Welt gechartert werden.
In 2007 the Mariska was relocated to France after being found abandoned in the Netherlands. In France she underwent a 2.5 year long complete restoration and 25000 worked man-hours. She was then relaunched in September 2009.
Setting her sails in 1908, the Mariska is the oldest out of four still existing yachts of the 15mR racing class. But until this day she is still competing at the highest level of racing!
Despite her age the Mariska is still a very successful competitor and won the 15mR class trophy in 2011, 2013, 2014, 2016 and 2017!
